Oakland First Fridays is an immersive art and community experience on the first Friday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Telegraph Avenue from West Grand to 27th Street. Oakland’s KONO district springs to life with for this event, with galleries, artist collectives, street artists, local culinary artisans, performers, musicians, dancers, DJ’s, and poets gathering for Oakland First Friday events.
The New East Bay Open Studios is a free annual art event that brings the art-loving public together with artists in the East Bay. It spans 4 weekends in June* and begins with a festive Opening Celebration/Preview Exhibition at Oakland’s historic Scottish Rite Center followed by three inspiring weekends of artist open studios and exhibitions.
Studio 23 acts as a studio and workshop during the day for artists and owners, Jessica and Wesley E. Warren. Once a month the Studio is open to the public and will feature work by local bay area artists.
